VARIETIES: 30% Jaen, 30% Tinta Roriz, 20% Alfrocheiro, 20% Touriga Nacional
COLOR: Deep Ruby color.
NOSE: Intense aromas of wild berries and orange peel.
PALATE: Fresh cherry flavors, with red berry notes, and a lovely mineral character.
WINEMAKING: Each variety was hand-harvested separately, at optimum ripeness, and vinified separately. Traditional style alcoholic and malolactic fermentation took place in granite “lagares,” with natural clarification, followed by a light filtering, then aged in bottle for 4 months before release.
