Bodegas Ondalan is the result of a long and solid family tradition, linked to the wines and vineyards off Rioja Alavesa since 1889. In 1976, Mr. Julio Martinez Bujanda founded Bodegas Ondalan, in order to develop unique wines born from the fruit of their own vineyards, expressing in them authenticity and uniqueness. Over the years, his sons Fernando and Enrique, devoted in body and soul to the cultivation of the vine, claimed Bodegas Ondalan as a living testimony to the presence of “terroir” that they have received from their ancestors. Today,Enrique Martinez Bujanda, with his knowledge and compassion for the 55 hectares of estate vines, is dedicated to making Bodegas Ondalan his personal and family project, producing elegant wines, full of emotion.
