Muro (DOC Rioja)
Rebirth through a passion for greatness – Miguel Ángel Muro brought his ancestors’ vine-growing and wine-producing traditions into the modern age by adopting new technologies and production methods. This winery was a pioneer in the use of steel tanks in Lapuebla de Labarca and was one of the first to do so in the entire region.
The south-facing vineyards lie in altitude between 450 m and 570 m and receive scarce rainfall throughout the year. They cover a surface area of 22 hectares and have an average age of 35 years. Grape varietals include Tempranillo (84%), Graciano (5%), and Macabeo (11%).
