Portugal has been a fascinating country for us ever since we began importing products from Jose Maria da Fonseca several years ago. Since then we have seen Portugal become a wine producing country to be taking seriously, with much more press coverage and more high quality wines being produced all over the country.  Our goal in Portugal is the same with all the other regions where we currently import from, to find small family owned and operated estates passionate about their work and offering fantastic wines and reasonable prices. We have found that Portugal is providing that opportunity like no other region right now and we have been impressed by the quality to price ratio that can be found in every region. We will be keeping a close eye on Portugal and the many fantastic producers there as we believe the country will only continue to improve the quality of their wines.
