France still holds a special place in our hearts as it was our first experience living and working in Europe. Our home was in the city of Troyes, about two hours southeast of Paris, which is located on the cusp of the Champagne region. In typical wine country fashion, many of the people we met either worked at a vineyard or had family who also worked at a vineyard, so we were fortunate enough to be able to learn from the people who knew the region best. Our time and experience in France is what drew us to the European culture and where our passion for wine began. Without the friends we made during our time in France, we wouldn’t be where we are today, striving to make available to you the amazing wine being produced in France and throughout Europe.
